Healing the Hurt

CAMPAIGN

At A Glance

We care for more than 14,000 infants, children, young adults, and families every year – and there are still more children in need.

For over 40 years, HomeSafe has stepped up to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in South Florida, caring for the children that others cannot. The children we nurture are typically survivors of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, or abandonment, and cannot function in foster care. Thankfully, HomeSafe has created a space and system for these kids to thrive.

The Space to Heal

Imagine growing up never having your bedroom, your own safe space.

HomeSafe is launching a campaign to provide more children with the safe space and therapeutic support they need to heal from their trauma. We are building four new, state-of-the-art residential campuses that will transform the scope of our program by providing facilities that include spaces to promote socialization, enhance therapeutic interventions, and provide one-on-one education and enrichment.

The two new Sylvester Family Foundation campuses at Lyons Road and at 47th Place, and the renovated campuses in Boca Raton and Lake Worth, will provide children with private bedrooms and bathrooms, giving them privacy, safety, and security that they haven’t experienced.

We are also building our HomeSafe endowment to provide resources to recruit and retain top talent, to maintain our campuses, and to evolve to meet the growing and ever-changing needs in our community.
